When Grammy-winning R&B artist
Jill Scott established her Blues Babe Foundation, I was asked to design their invitation package for their first fundraiser—the purpose being to help raise funds for their programs which are rooted in cultivating academic and artistic success in youth coming from the most underserved communities of North Philadelphia and Camden.

The event was such a success they contracted me the following year for their second fundraiser. This time with the event invitation, a program was incorporated that was created in similar style to a Broadway playbill.
Attendees mingled throughout the open space art market and then directed to the stage to enjoy a preview performance of Jill Scott’s then upcoming album.
